  GICU Spreads Smiles Amidst Pandemic

  To celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day, our GICU Culture Champions lead an initiative to spread appreciation to our local frontline healthcare workers. Our staff wrote over 120 thoughtful thank you notes to local hospitals to send along with gift cards to spread smiles.

GICU was once again a sponsor of the Story County Go Red for Women event this year. The campaign launched 17 years ago to bring awareness to the number one killer of women: cardiovascular disease. We are proud to support and bring awareness to the tireless efforts of the organization.

GICU Announces 2021 - 2022 Board of Directors  

GICU announced its 2021-2022 Board of Directors at its 89th Annual Meeting. Linda Ashby, Pol Herrmann, and Leo Kanne were elected by the GICU membership to join our existing members: Annie Arbuckle, Chris Campbell, Lara Olson, Rob Tebben, John Vilotti and Mike Wahlin.
